Broken lenses Both plastic lenses on the end away from your face have got the 4 tabs broke off. The tabs are to hold the lens in place to seal against dust. The lenses are still in the finder but are loose. The finder still works fine but I don't think letting dust in is a good idea. What would happen if I split the finder myself & glued the lenses back in position? I don't know how long the lenses have been loose because I just bought it off ebay. The seller doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.Thank you,Terry

I hate to tell you that I have the same problem but only one, no solution yet!!! Mine doesn't really work fine... When you look inside it is like blue... it actually makes the LED much easier to read but in low lite situations it makes it impossible to use... Good Luck..

I took out 3 lenses but there is still one inside and it has a fingerprint on it that i would like to clean & i can't reach it because it is on the inside, don't know how it got there... & the whole monocular is kind of loose , that is why i wanted to take it apart , clean it and then put it back together. 10q for the prompt answer

It is a wigit finger print. Anything that happen, does happen, could happen, will happen, happen to disappear, you can count on it that a darn wigit had something to do with. There could be more than one wigit also. The optics on you Night Owl are Russian manufactured. So, it a Russian wigit finger print. Now which optics lens has the finger print, viewing optic, 50mm input optics. So you need to tell me which optics and I will help you remove the lens by written instruction OK. I have a Night Owl NOCX3 setting on my work bench. stewbison

Airsoft battery busted

New battery is all i suggest , you really screwed it up it probally wont work but if it does it will eventually blow up on you as it is not discharging properly, but there cheap if there locally available. So just get a new one and dont play with the wires next time and get a proper airsoft gun.

I cannot get my finderscope red dot to lineup with my main scope ,its a SKP13065EQ2 .it will not lineup , i did send SKYWATCH a e-mail and that was almost 2 mths ago .i did line up the main scope like it said in the master book ,on page 11 (using the red dot finder) and i got as far as number 3 ,then it all went out the window,i could not get to number 4.i tryed to turn both the AZIMUTH and ALTITUDE to bring it in line and it will not do as it says in the book.i looked in the main to make sure it was in line with to object(it was) but the dot was not.i went to the FULL max on both and still no joy.i did find that the finder 'when you add the finder and screwin to lock it moves about 2-4 mm to the left.with this i worked out it was about 1and a half-2 inchs off.i was thinking of drilling another hole or mark it to see if i can get it to line up the right way.i do not want to spend £200 and keep looking from the back to line up the scope all the time .don't get me wrong i love the scope i got but its a pain in the *** when something will not go right. any help on this and how to fixit

Can you return the red dot finder? It's apparently broken. These can be purchased (not too very expensive)here:http://www.telescope.com/control/category/~category_id=finder_scopes

I also have a jason mercury 420 telescope and was wondering if you knew where i could find a users manual bc I am having problems with my small lenses. I can see objects with just the telescope lens but when i put the small lens into the telescope tub the object bc so distorted or even total blackness...... I have played with the adjusters and still dont understand why I cant see anything. Please help. Thanks Ashley

You are using too much magnification. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one. Take it outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

I have a pair of Zeiss 10X40B Binoculars that I bought in 1993. They are still functioning well except now the middle that holds each side apart thus fitting your eyes, is now very loose and I must hold them at the right separation myself in order to look through the lenses. It seems like there should be a simple solution to this problem. Must I send them to a Zeiss place for repairs or is it something I can do myself?

To tighten up the binoculars you need to remove the adjuster cap (arrow on picture below). Once that is removed you will see a screw that you can tighten to make them stiffer to separate. Good Luck and please accept the answer and please leave a testimonial
