Manual for barska telescope 114900

You will not find a manual for that scope. BUT! It's a small equatorial mounted REFLECTOR telescope. Meade telescopes has a similar model and a manual. They all assemble and are used in the same way.Look on this web site under REFLECTOR for a scope similar to yours and download the manual and print it.http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.htmlYour scope should be very similar to this one:http://www.meade.com/manuals/TelescopeManuals/Reflectors/Meade4500.pdfThis web site may also help you.http://www.texasastro.org/telescope.php

Insutrction manual Hello optics experts, I cannot seem to find the instruction manual for the "Polaris" 114EQ-D telescope, however I have found a manual for a "Jupiter" 114EQ-D. MY telescope is very old, is it possible that Meade just re-branded the telescope? Pictures in the manual I was able to find look exactly like the actual telescope I own.

Hi, I also have this telescope with no manual! I called the Meade customer service number at 1-800-626-3233 and they are going to email me the manual for this model. FYI - it's now called a Jupiter 114EQ-D. Hope this helps you!

The Red Dot finde scope on my 78-8831 doesn't look like depicted in the user manual for this telescope. It looks like on the picture for 78-8840. Oh, by the way, the user manual is just about the worst published manual I have ever seen. Can't Bushnell hire people that know what the user manual is for? Absolutely no descriptions about the Finderscope or the Format Eyepiece. No Parts List. This is pathetic. Is there a need to say more?

Bushnell is NOT known for their quality telescopes. Sorry. The red dot finder must be aligned with the main tube, you can do this during the daytime.Focus on a distant object using the telescope like the top of a telephone pole. Without moving the telescope, adjust the red dot so it falls on the exact same object. This may help you also:http://www.cloudynights.com/item.php?item_id=810

How to focus telescope lens for city viewing?

No no manuals. The smaller the number written on the eyepiece the GREATER the magnification. However many astronomical telescopes show everything upside down. This is normal -- no up or down in space. You can buy and erecting prism diagonal for terrestrial viewing which will turn the image right side up.http://www.scopecity.com/detail.cfm?ProductID=1775

Please help. I need the user manual for c-star

That is a very simple reflector style telescope --- here is my suggestions-1. Forget about the barlow--- since this scope has a very small aperture you will not be able to get much more than about 125 power-- if you try to use the barlow which DOUBLES or TRIPLES the power of your eyepieces the images you see will be degraded and it will be VERY hard to point the telescope and focus.2. Put the eyepiece with the largest number (which is the lowest magnification) into the telescope and take it outside during the day and practice focusing on a distant object.3. Take it out at night when the moon is up and LESS THAN 3/4 full-- the moon should be your first night target...... if all goes well try to find Saturn which is up in the sky right now, and appears as a slightly yellow "star".4. The smaller telescope is the finder scope and mounts on top of the main telescope tube. Use this to point the main telescope------- but you must first line it up on a distant object so that the small telescope and the big tube are both pointed exactly alike.5. Try to find a local astronomy club and attend one of their star parties.6. Here is a manual for a telescope that is very similar to what you have except yours is on an Alt Az Mount while the one below is on an equatorial mount but many of the tube parts are the same-- http://www.meade.com/manuals/TelescopeManuals/Reflectors/Meade114STEQ-D.pdf
