Tasco telescope 57500

Astronomy is a learned skill- I would suggest that you contact a local Astronomy club and attend their meetings and their free star parties-- ask lots of questions and see what kind of telescopes they use.

Need user manual for Meade Telstar 76700 telescope

Try this web site for a manual: did not see the part number 76700 listed but they had several Telstar models listed and did not always show the part number, instead opting to show the model number. If the exact one is not listed, you might find one very close to it.I hope this helps.-jodair

Have been given a, "used" Edu Science 525x reflector telescope (set) in case. I,m looking for the following help .... 1) needs to be inspected, and overall cleaning done', and adjustments made to be sure it is all there, and working properly. .. 2) Also need to get, a user guide, and instruction book for it, if possible, so can operate it properly, that shows the different lens, and their operations, and how to assemble ,where they go. Can you help me find this information, or locate a place that i can contact to handle these things . THANK YOU

This is sold by Toys R US. You will not find a manual. It will NOT achieve 525x that is a complete lie. Maybe 100-150 power. Meade has manuals for all of their telescopes. Look under the REFLECTOR topic for one that is similar to your telescope. They all assemble the same way. Then read my TIPS on my profile page. Here is Meade's manual web site: information on cleaning optics read this:

Can't see object with 6450 Telescope

You cannot use high power in those small telescopes. Only use the eyepiece with the largest number written on it. I know the box said 600 power--- it was a complete LIE! The maximum magnification is 50 times aperture. You probably have something like a 2 inch lens. So 100 power is the maximum usable power.Next time buy a telescope similar to this one:

Having just bought a used model I wish to know how

You will not find a manual for that specific telescope. However Meade maintains their manuals at this web site. under REFLECTOR for one that is similar to your telescope. They all go together in a similar fashion. Also you should read the beginner's telescope article on our Astronomy club web site, located here:
