CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:www.stellarium.orgThe scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes.
