Rack and pinion leaking

Right?All jokes aside, you can replace the rubber boots on the steering box (do both sides) by first disconnecting the tie rod ball joints and removing them. careful note of how many turns to unscrew the ball-joint off the tie-rod end.Cut the securing bands on the existing rubber boots, and cut them off completely. Then slide the new boots over the tie-rod and up to the steering box, and secure with the clamp band provided. Depending on your model you may be required to inject some oil into the rubber boots first.Then replace the ball joints the same number of turns, tighten the securing nuts and replace the split pin shown in the video.
