Weaver T-36 scope fails to hold zero

I have a Weaver T-36 that is several years old. It recently started "losing" zero and has to be adjusted to maintain zero. I've tried turning vert and horiz all the way down and returning to preset point. It lasts a couple of shots then goes high left perpaps 1" high and 3/4" left. No one seems to have solution short of swapping. Thanks,Mike

Elevation adjustments do not seem to hold or the scope moves slowly over time. I'm not certain. Windage works fine. Looked at manual on the web and the scope must have changed design because not adjustment can be made by turning a nob, only with a screwdriver. Not certain if the scope is bad. Any help appreciated.

Most of the time a scope that creeps off its zero, has a loose mount screw and or loose mounting ring. Check the mounts all screws. Some times the opposite is true. The mounts are to tight and in a bind. Then during firing the receiver heats up an tweaks the scope enough to cause creep. If the scope is always on zero when cold and creeps off after a few shots, she is in a bind. Make all adjustments to the scope base and rings with a cold gun. Loosen the front ring screws first then re-tighten then loosen the rear doing the same. Then try and re-zero the gun. If the gun never comes back to zero, you end one day shooting hi to the right and try again the next day shooting in the same spot try to re-tighten all screws. Screws from mount to gun then scope rings to scope body.

Leopold VX11 power adjustment really hard to turn

Take the eyepiece off and clean out the threads with wd-40 or something like that, put on some fresh, light weight oil, a little, and see if it doesn't spin a little better. Sometimes the oil gets gummy and sticky. Hope this helps.

I have a nikon 3x9 rifle scope. im shooting about 3" to the right.i moved the adjustment to the left several clicks but my scope fails to adjust. my question is will the adjustment (right/left)dial keep turning or will it eventaully stop when adjusted all the way.

U should be clicking ur scope to the right if the gun is shooting 3 inches to the right, that means u will be taking ur crosshairs to where the gun is shooting! So if u were clicking to the left u were going further away! Does this make sense?

I have a Tasco Silver Antler 4x rifle scope mounted on a .22. When trying to get it sited in, I get it close to where I want, and then the adjustments seem to reverse, ie. if I turn the elevation knob in the direction that has been raising the point of impact, it suddenly starts lowering the impact. I suspect that the shop that installed the scope did so in a manner that has up against the stops for adjustments. How do I center the reticle in the scope, so I can remount it and have the maximum amount of adjustment available.

I would like to help but dont understand the question is it possible to send a foto close up of the scope
