I am having problems viewing

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. There is no up or down in space. To ERECT the image would take additional GLASS lenses. MORE glass means less light pass-through for those dim sky objects.

How would you rate +Venture RX-9 telescope? - Bushnell 675x5 EQ Reflector Telescope

If you read down this page there is a manual is a cheaply made in China reflector telescope. It is mounted on a small equatorial mount which is too small to support the tube. It will be very shaky. These scopes appear on Craigslist after the owner determines they are really just a "toy" telescope. You can do much better for their $249 asking price. Look at a Dobsonian telescope like one of these. 6 inch telescope mirror, 50% larger than the Venture toy telescope

I just got a venture rx9 at a estate sale for $25.00 . And it has no finder scope or lenses with it can you tell me where to purchase these items TY Doyle

You can buy these online from many retailers. Measure the hole in the focuser-- eyepieces come in 3 sizes-- .965 inch, 1.25 inch and 2 inch sizes. Buy the correct size. Here is a good on line retailer that carries finderscopes and eyepieces and lots more!

I have a makusutove 150 1800 telescope and I cant seem to get it to focus correctly - it seems as though the mirrors are focussing the light behind the viewing lens. I can get a focussed image if I hold the viewing lens about 4 inches behind the telescope. how can I adjust this telescope to enable a focused image with the viewing lens in the holder?

You do not have enough BACK-FOCUS, you need an extension tube for the focuser like this one: the correct size for the focuser hole--

I have a bushnell 675x5 EQ reflector telescope and when I look through the scope, it just completely dark. I can't see anything. I've never used a telescope like this before. Is there something that I'm not doing?

The end with the focuser is point UP, the big mirror is on the bottom. Remove the cap, put the eyepiece in that has the largest number written on it and practice focusing on a distant object during the daytime.

I'm simply looking for the assembly instructions for the +venture RX-7 reflector telescope. I purchased the telescope back in December and just opened it now to find no assemply instructions or product manual. I've e-mailed the supposed manufacturer in Huntington Beach, CA (it's really made in China), so +venture is really just the distributor for yet another ''Jimmy Lee'' made product. Looks like they may not even carry optical products anymore. They're focused on heat generating clothing.

Even though it's considered a TOY, its still small enough to be taken places easily. I feel its a step up from my binoculars. Yes its not my 10 in dob. but it will do.
