I have an old Yardage pro Model 20-0002 date code 02/01 001348. The battery is new but the viewfinder shows 888 yds. on the first push and stays at that number after that. Usually, I hit the top button a second time and the yardage shows up. When I press the side button, the finder shows the 'yd' and 'm' flashing back and forth but does not allow me to chose which one. The battery symbol shows 2 dashes) I loved this model but has it given up the ship now? I used it every year (about 60 games/yr) and it worked flawlessly. I did lose the battery cover a few years ago and cut out a rubber grommet to cover the battery and taped it down. I have never used it in the rain and it gets placed back into the original case after each game.(battery removed each time) Is it time to get a new one?...LOL

I have a Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder. Serial No. 109118. I lost my battery cap and ordered a replacement cap which I got (Product 201930 (5x24 Tour V2 Graphite Vertical). It does not fit. It does not have the foldable flaps like the one in your picture. Did I get the right cap? This one has a slot where it looks like your\'re supposed to use a screwdriver.

Hi I think the answer is simple, NO you have NOT received the right cap, you are indeed correct, in what you think & say. I think you need to contact Bushnell, direct, via the Phone, and speak to someone in parts and explain what's happened, and explain what your cap is like, i am sure then they will sort it all out for you, and may even give you a refund for the one that will not fit correctly. link below use the Contact link and find the Phone or if they have it Chat link, and contact them direct.

Changed Battery on Yardage Pro XL and now get "Er6" on the read out.

1) Low battery, replace if necessary, try cleaning the contacts and reinsert batteries, try another set of batteries..2) You are trying to measure an object that is too close, try a more distant object3) You are not holding the rangefinder steady and have not gotten areading off the target. Try an easier, larger, more reflective target as acheck.4) You have an electrical problem requiring repair. Please contact Bushnell before sending the unit to a repair service.

My rangefinder was dropped and now the view is fuzzy. It still will give me yardage but tends to pick up the background yardages first and it becomes difficult to get a distance to the flag. Is it an easy fix to focus the shot and pick up the flag distance easier?

Welcome to Fixya Looks like the unit has been damaged after the incident. Try to resetit first by pushing the mode button and the power button simultaneously for 30 second. This will reset the device. If same problem after the reset, you need to contact nikon for repair. There might be loose parts or cable inside the unit. Thank you for using Fixya!
