Need set up instructions & User guide. Using camera on telescope.

You will not find a specific manual for that small telescope. However Meade maintains a web site with manuals for their telescopes. Find one similar to yours and download it for free. AND-- forget about doing astro-photography with that telescope. You might get a picture of the moon but not much more.www.Meade.com look under Customer Service--- ManualsTry to attend a local Astronomy club's star party in your area and ask questions.

Ds2114ats-lnt I am a green rookie and was given a Meade DS2114ATS-LNY telescope. I followed the dvd instructions and have read the manual. I line it up properly with easy align for north and level 0. It doesn't seem to be able to find the alignment stars properly. Is there an easier way for me to get this thing working so I can look at some planets and stars etc? Is there a way to know which stars are in the sky so that I can line it up by their name? I was wondering about entering the R.A. co-ordinates but find it confusing. The manual says it is simple but it is not for me HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP

I was having the same issue. Training the drive cleared up my problem. Meade has a step by step procedure for this on their website. Like Joe L said you will still have to center the alignment star in the eyepiece.

Telescope manual I need a manual for a C-Star Stratus Newtoniun reflective telescope. I can't contact the website. A download would be great. I think I need a few parts, if its possible to get a parts list/oreder form as well.

Probably not, BUT any well stocked hardware store should be able to supply almost any common bolt or screw. This is a quit common reflector telescope. They all go together in a very similar fashion. Meade maintains a web site with all of their manuals which even include hints on how to use the telescope.Look under the header 4.5" REFLECTOR for one that is similar to your telescope here: slightly down the page to the right:http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

I need a manual for the Optisan star 70060 telescope

You will not find a manual for many of the smaller telescope brands-- however Meade maintains a web site for all of their manuals. Go there and find one that is similar to your style of telescope and down load it for free. http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.htmlAlso try to find a local Astronomy Club and attend their star parties.

How to focus telescope lens for city viewing?

No no manuals. The smaller the number written on the eyepiece the GREATER the magnification. However many astronomical telescopes show everything upside down. This is normal -- no up or down in space. You can buy and erecting prism diagonal for terrestrial viewing which will turn the image right side up.http://www.scopecity.com/detail.cfm?ProductID=1775

Please help. I need the user manual for c-star

That is a very simple reflector style telescope --- here is my suggestions-1. Forget about the barlow--- since this scope has a very small aperture you will not be able to get much more than about 125 power-- if you try to use the barlow which DOUBLES or TRIPLES the power of your eyepieces the images you see will be degraded and it will be VERY hard to point the telescope and focus.2. Put the eyepiece with the largest number (which is the lowest magnification) into the telescope and take it outside during the day and practice focusing on a distant object.3. Take it out at night when the moon is up and LESS THAN 3/4 full-- the moon should be your first night target...... if all goes well try to find Saturn which is up in the sky right now, and appears as a slightly yellow "star".4. The smaller telescope is the finder scope and mounts on top of the main telescope tube. Use this to point the main telescope------- but you must first line it up on a distant object so that the small telescope and the big tube are both pointed exactly alike.5. Try to find a local astronomy club and attend one of their star parties.6. Here is a manual for a telescope that is very similar to what you have except yours is on an Alt Az Mount while the one below is on an equatorial mount but many of the tube parts are the same-- http://www.meade.com/manuals/TelescopeManuals/Reflectors/Meade114STEQ-D.pdf
