.965 are the correct eyepieces for the CC-JR, CC-JRME, CC-JRs and CC-JRMs.

I bought a used Bauch &Lomb 560 Professional series telescope Model 78-0560 Does anyone still sell eye pieces for it? One inch diameter?

You mean .965 size eyepieces. These are becoming hard to find. Check with these two retailers:http://www.surplusshed.com/http://shop.telescope-warehouse.com/

I am looking for Galileo cc-2 replacement parts. I have no idea what any of these parts are because I know nothing about telescopes. There is no lens in the eyepiece, so I need to replace whatever is needed. The only numbers I can find are the cc-2 model number along with 700mm focal length and 60mm objective. If any one has an idea on where to get some help on this I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks for your time, Joe

Replace Eyepiece on Saturn F-900 Model 60EQ

You need an eyepiece This scope uses .965in eyepieces. you can find them on Ebay. Maximum magnification is 100x NOT 420x. These scopes have inferior optics and terrible mounts. Don't spend much on this scope. Buy a 20mm (35x magnification) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Astro-Optics-20mm-965-Telescope-Eyepiece-NEW-/230688144635?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b615bcfb or a 15mm (45x magnification) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Astro-Optics-20mm-965-Telescope-Eyepiece-NEW-/230688144635?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b615bcfb on Ebay If you are interested in astronomy, you need to spend some money on a good scope. Check out Orion for a great tabletop dob for $100 http://www.telescope.com/Telescopes/Dobsonian-Telescopes/Mini-Dobsonians/Orion-SkyScanner-100mm-TableTop-Reflector-Telescope/pc/1/c/12/sc/28/p/9541.uts

Hi, Inherited a North Star Bushnell telescope. No instruction manual. I downloaded that. The little corded thing works but the motor doesn't seem to be working to turn the telescope in the right direction. There is one 9 volt battery installed near the remote thing. Do I need more batteries for the motor? If so, where do they go? Also, (I feel really stupid) why is everything upside down when I look through the eyepiece? One more stupid question....I know the mirror is at one end, at the other end is a small cap in the center of the large cap. Do I only remove the small cap or do I take off the whole big cap when I want to use the telescope? One more not stupid question. Can I buy a case that is specifically for this telescope, if so where? Thank you, Teresa

I don't know about the motor on this scope.Astronomical telescopes usually show an upside down image. There is a good reason for this- erecting the image needs more bits of glass in the light path, which reduces the amount of light and increases aberrations. Even if this is only slight, astronomers prefer to avoid it, and they don't really care which way up the Moon or Jupiter appear. It is possible to fit an erecting prism or eyepiece to most astronomical telescopes, and some of them come with one.You remove the whole large cap to use the telescope.I don't know about cases for this scope. I just leave my scope set up in the corner of the dining room.

A telescope like that has a very narrow depth-of-field, so you need to focus very, very slowly to be able to see any image. Try focusing on something bigger (like a spot on the moon) and adjust the crosshair accordingly. The two eyepieces gives different magnification.

I need to know about my telescope optrex information . the name on my telescope is exactly\; telescope OPTREX OT 525 astronomical telescope acromatic coated lens F=700 D=60 . but when I look

Optrex did exist but was bought by Koyocera and has disappeared. Optex is an unrelated supplier of security sensors. From the information you give, you could buy a right angle prism, erecting type, which allows daytime use as well, like this http://www.optcorp.com/os-d125ei90-90-erect-image-diagonal-1-25inch.html and a couple of eyepieces suited to the scope http://www.optcorp.com/meade-12-4mm-series-4000-super-plossl-eyepiece-1-25.html http://www.optcorp.com/meade-26mm-series-4000-super-plossl-eyepiece-1-25.html
